Lacto-Ferment Your Vegetables

    Do you want to keep your vegetables going all winter long, increase their nutritional value and give them a new flavour to enjoy with your meals? Then lacto-fermentation is for you.

    Lacto-fermentation is one of the world's oldest preservation methods and is still used in kitchens all over the world. During the course we go through the basics, learn how to get the right bacteria into the jars and then let our imagination run wild. The course is hands-on from the start and everyone makes their own jars, while working together in a social and relaxed atmosphere. Each participant makes three jars with their own choice of seasoning from the spice collection and takes them home to ferment and enjoy.

    The course suits both complete beginners and those who want to deepen their knowledge. All you need is curiosity and a desire to play chemist with your vegetables.
